Baby of Shobha, gestational age 38 weeks with birth weight 1130 grams, diagnosed as Term, Respiratory Distress, Pneumonia. This is a very special baby who is one of the world’s youngest neonates to have undergone cardiac device closure of a hole in the heart (VSD device closure) at 21 days of life under the care of Rainbow Cardiac Centre. Discharged after 68 days of care from Rainbow Cardiac Centre and Paramitha Children’s Hospital.
